Chemical Peels

Chemical peels are performed on clients to treat fine lines, mild hyperpigmentation (brown spots and melasma), mild photo-damage, melasma, active acne and mild acne scars. The process involves applying a small amount of a chemical solution (such as glycolic acid) to the skin for a specified amount of time. This causes layers of the damaged epidermis (the top layer of the skin) to be removed (to be “peeled” away) revealing healthier, younger looking skin underneath. And depending upon the strength of the peeling agent (and the amount of time and layers in which it is applied), the deeper dermis of the skin is stimulated to produce new collagen.*

*Individual results may vary. Any specific claims or permanence length of results vary for each patient and are not guaranteed. Each treatment plan is designed for a patient’s needs, so depending on the area being treated and the condition of the skin each patient will see different results. Please call or schedule a consultation to discuss your treatment plan and the results that can be achieved for you.
