Businesses can benefit from “face-lifts” too: These seven cosmetic doctors have collaborated with interior decorators to “enhance” not only the looks of their high-profile patients, but their offices as well. “I definitely see more cosmetic surgeons collaborating with interior designers these days,” says Dr. Andrew Jacono who caters to his clientele from his offices on 630 Park Avenue in New York. “For the most part, cosmetic surgery is an elective, luxury item for the well-heeled consumer with disposable income. Personally speaking, the Park Avenue patient walking into my office is used to a well-appointed home, so providing a similar office environment offers a sense of comfort.”

These seven celeb-endorsed choices attract their clients with the most advanced cosmetic enhancements and technology in skin care. But, they put their clients to ease with clean, well-decorated businesses—where the aesthetics echo their own. “These procedures are all elective, and the field is very competitive,” explains Dr. Andrew Ordon who sees his patients in his well-heeled offices in Beverly Hills and Rancho Mirage, California (Dr. Ordon collaborated with friend and interior decorator Faye Resnick on the design). “Your offices reflect who you are professionally and artistically, and you have to have a space that is both inviting and exciting.”

For Dr. Garth Fisher—whose A-list clients include the Kardashians—this means a trompe l’oeil–style ceiling that was inspired by Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. He shares, from his office at 120 South Spalding Drive in Beverly Hills, “Just as the human body ages, so does ‘designed space.’”

DR. ANDREW ORDON71–949 HIGHWAY 111, RANCHO MIRAGE, CALIFORNIA 465 NORTH ROXBURY DRIVE, BEVERLY HILLS

Clients: “You have seen my patients on the big and little screens and I’ve worked with bold-name musical artists and socialites.” (Dr. Ordon is also the cohost of the ten-year-old daily Emmy-award-winning talk show The Doctors.)

Expertise: “I am well-known for my face-lifts—especially my trademark ‘O’ face-lift. I’m also well-known for my ‘natural noses’ and facial contouring with fat rearrangement.”

Interior Decorator: “My wife, Robyn Ordon, is actually a designer who did our homes and my previous offices in Connecticut and New York. But, she felt very strongly that my California offices needed to be more of a reflection of who I am. We enlisted our close friend, Faye Resnick, to help redesign the offices. She knows me very well and understands my tastes and the balance of professionalism and warmth that must go into a doctor’s office.”

Aesthetic: “We wanted the spaces to be representative of my success, aesthetic eye, and artistic flair while creating a soothing environment. They span different styles: Beverly Hills is classic chic with some eclectic elements, while Rancho Mirage is more ‘desert modern’ to fit the vibe of the area. Both are elegant yet homey and stand out from your typical sterile doctor’s office. Cosmetic doctors do most of our surgeries in the office rather than at a hospital, so the space needs to convey success, safety, comfort, and thoroughness to put a patient at ease. A designer understands that.”

Favorite Accents: “Over the years, I have collected interesting and unique pieces from my travels to Europe, Africa, and the Far East. My favorites are sculptures and facial and body art pieces: torsos, hands, and faces. I like to display them throughout the office while maintaining a clean and organized look.”

Clients: “We attract a diverse group of patients, including award-winning actors, models, Instagram influencers, and fitness trainers, as well as many beautiful anonymous patients.” (Dr. Greenberg has also appeared on Bravo’s Secrets and Wivesreality series.)

Expertise: “We are known for the life-changing results we help our patients achieve in a variety of cosmetic procedures. The procedures that make up most of my work are breast augmentations, breast lifts, tummy tucks, fat transfers, liposuction, and facial procedures.”

Interior Decorator: “Keith Baltimore of Baltimore Design Group helped us achieve the look and feeling we wanted. I was drawn to Keith because he’s the best in the business. His reputation speaks for itself, and his ability to visualize a feeling is unmatched. He not only understands me and my staff, he understands our patient.”

Aesthetic: “I wanted my new office to be the ultimate in luxury. Everything from our waiting areas to each treatment room is built to maximize the patient’s comfort and feeling of glamour. I wanted to give each patient an exceptional, positive experience from the moment they walked in. Each space is decorated with meticulous attention to detail in its own distinctive way, yet still flows with the overall sophistication and warm ambiance of the space.”

Favorite Accents: “I approach my life with a sense of adventure and appreciation, which is reflected in the aircraft part that serves as my desk. That gets a lot of interest. We also have a grand, cascading chandelier in our main waiting room on Long Island that greets our patients. It inspires a sense of opulence and luxury that we believe is only appropriate as our patients embark on an incredibly important journey of putting themselves first.”

Clients: “I can tell you that if you took the upper crust of the world’s top business executives, fashion designers, Oscar-winning actors and actresses, athlete wives, supermodels, Hollywood producers, professional sports-team owners, royalty, and politicians, my patient list would be the ‘who’s who.’ I have a supercharged, A-list, international clientele. I am well-known for performing Kris Jenner’s face-lift on her show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” (Other celebrities of Fisher’s are rumored to include: Kate Hudson, Kourtney Kardashian, Nicole Richie, and Lisa Rinna.)

Expertise: “I am mainly known for my breast surgery and face-lift surgery. Tom Ford even deemed me ‘The Enhancer’ in Vanity Fair’s Hollywood Issue (2006).”

Interior Decorator: “I collaborated with Steven Lott, who owns RAW International. He had an excellent reputation in the community for medical facilities. That said, that was a small part of his work and I was drawn to the beautiful lines and artistic nature of his work architecturally.”

Aesthetic: “Regarding my space, ‘form follows function.’ I wanted my personality and confidence in my abilities to be exuded in the physical space. My practice was centered on exclusivity, privacy, and confidentiality, and I wanted that to be felt from the patients that entered the space. The blending of modern technology and traditional aesthetics, which include a crystal chandelier, evokes sense of security that you are in a safe haven. The main circulation spine of the office presented an excellent opportunity to emulate our clients’ journey: Its vaulted ceilings feature a trompe l’oeil sky with a ‘destination’ on the horizon. I had always enjoyed the senses that were stimulated by walking in the forum shops at Caesars Palace, so I had the same artist paint my hallway ceiling.”

Favorite Accents: “I feel very much at home in my office and love all the pieces. I probably enjoy the painting of Positano, Italy, the most as this is where I have found the most peace.”

Clients: “We have newscasters, TV personalities, actors, actresses, models, producers, bankers, social media influencers, and celebrities like Melissa Joan Hart.”

Expertise: “We are known for addressing all of our patients’ skin-care and aesthetic goals, from facials to injectables to lasers. We have all the latest procedures and technologies in one beautiful space. Our commitment is to producing natural, radiant results so clients can look their best for their age.”

Interior Decorator: “I worked with CPG Architects in Stamford, Connecticut. I liked that their experience was luxury first: They understood my version of being a high-end, clinical office and they understood my brand. I knew I wanted it to be a Vogue doctor’s office.”

Aesthetic: “Just like I am an expert in my field, I knew I needed an expert in design who had the experience and creativity to turn my dreams of a boutique aesthetic office into reality. We have a few buzzwords: contemporary, luxury, welcoming, exclusive. We are a white-glove dermatology office and our design is very ‘on brand.’ The level of detail we put into our space is the same level of detail you can expect from us for your services.”

Favorite Accents: “Our marble desk is a staple piece. It’s the first thing you see when you come from the elevator. It’s grand, branded with our ‘NicholsMD’ logo, and where you are first welcomed by my team.”

DR. ANDREW JACONO630 PARK AVENUE, NEW YORK

Clients: “My patients range from socialites and heiresses to corporate executives and actresses. Many of my patients come from other countries or coasts and make a vacation out of their stays in New York City.”

Expertise: “I am best known for my minimally invasive face-lift techniques and I travel the world lecturing on this topic.”

Interior Decorator: “In 2015, I partnered with Mary Evans of Casals-Evans Design Group because her firm offered interior design and space planning. It was important to me, from an efficiency perspective, to have everything under one roof. In order to bring my vision to life, we had to completely gut the maisonette and build from scratch. The walls, the windows, and everything else in the space is new—and all the equipment is cutting-edge, as well. My new office at 630 Park Avenue was officially unveiled in November 2017.”

Aesthetic: “I wanted to achieve a sophisticated, luxurious space that reflected the building’s prewar details and rich history. The entirely custom-built center includes original marble inlay and raw-silk appointments, along with an art collection featuring pieces from Damien Hirst and Fabio Modica. Personal photographs from my international mission work with children and of memories with my sons hang on multiple walls.”

Favorite Accents: “It can be found on the ceiling in the form of an 18-karat-gold dome hallway. The gilded dome reminds me of the Plafond de la Galerie d’Apollon at the Louvre in Paris.”

Clients: Dr. Marc Mani has been a doctor to celebrities as well as Dubai’s elite. Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop once featured him as “a fantastic plastic surgeon” who “comes highly recommended by friends,” and his website features interviews with former clients like beauty mogul Huda Kattan singing his praises.

Expertise: “My specialties are my ‘TCF Lift,’ which is state-of-the-art when it comes to facial rejuvenation. I also perform a large number of rhinoplasties. Both are procedures that I have done on celebrity patients.”

Interior Decorator: “In 2011, I built out my current office which is in the best building in Beverly Hills: 9675 Brighton Way. Cami Wright from Wright Interiors and I have known each other since we were four years old in Abilene, Texas. I’ve worked with her before on previous homes and offices of mine. I like her tastes and she is very easy—and very fun—to work with.”

Aesthetic: “As an artist who practices plastic surgery, design is very important to me. I wanted an office that looked like a museum, with a virtually all-white background for my own artwork on the walls. The space is all white, from the reception desk (which we had custom-made) to my own office desks and the exam chairs. This makes for a very clean, beautiful backdrop.”

Favorite Accents: “The reception desk is one of the best features. We had it hand-painted by the only person in Southern California who could do this specific type of lacquer painting on wood. He was truly old-school, barely spoke English, and took only cash. But it was well worth it!”

JONH DILL

DR. SOURAB CHOUDHURY440 ATLANTIC AVENUE, BROOKLYN, NEW YORK

Clients: “Several big names in Brooklyn are clients, including award-winning actors and actresses and Grammy award–winning singers and athletes.”

Expertise: “We provide all aspects of dermatological care, including cosmetic dermatology. We are known for our chemical peels (especially the VI Peel).”

Interior Decorator: “The design team I used was Paul Bennett Architects, which included the architect, Paul Bennett, and interior designers Valarie Bennett and Yuliet Rodriguez. They had done my condo apartment and I loved their work. In addition, they specialize in retail spaces, and since this medical office was going to be retail, it was a perfect fit.”

Aesthetic: “We envisioned a fun, modern space with clean lines. For example, there’s a large, green, plexiglass screen from 3form that separates the waiting room from the exam rooms without blocking the light. We wanted an environment that was a pleasure to work in for the staff and a pleasure to visit for the patients.”

Favorite Accents: “I love the large wall covering from Liora Manné that we have in our break room, and I love the large photographic images of plants and flowers by Dani Piderman in our exam rooms.”
