What is Botox®?

BOTOX® (and all wrinkle reducers, such as Dysport, Daxxify, Xeomin, and Jeuveau) is an FDA-approved injectable treatment that can be used in over 15 different areas of the body for different purposes. Most commonly, Dr. Nichols uses wrinkle reducers, like Botox®, to help temporarily smooth fine lines and wrinkles for a naturally well-rested and more youthful appearance.

Botox® is a neurotoxin or neuromodulator. When injected, Botox® relaxes facial muscles that cause frown lines and other wrinkles.

When should I start getting Botox®?

Often times, people wonder if they are ‘too young’ or ‘too old’ to start Botox. But there is truly no right or wrong age to start being treated. If you feel like it will be beneficial to you, we welcome you to come into the boutique for a consultation, so that Dr. Nichols and our team can assess your skin and provide a full treatment and skincare plan.

When will I see results?

You should start to see results of your Botox® treatment within a few days, with optimal results 2 weeks post-treatment.

Will I look natural?

YES. At NicholsMD, we treat Botox® by area with a customized approach to make sure that your results are completely natural-looking. Think of it as looking well-rested and refreshed.

What does a Botox® Treatment Feel Like?

This treatment is not considered painful, and has no social rejuvenation time. Most people relate Botox® injections to tiny pinches, and are surprised by how quick and effortless these treatments are. We also offer a vibrata tool to distract facial nerves, making your treatment comfortable from start to finish.

Will I need to keep getting Botox® forever?

On average, Botox® results last three to four months. Afterwards, your muscles will simply go back to normal – you by no means will look worse! Dr. Nichols recommends getting Botox® three times per year to maintain a refreshed appearance.
