Kim Nichols, MD, FAAD is a Harvard-trained, board-certified, celebrity dermatologist that treats both cosmetic and medical skincare concerns. She has been recognized world-wide for her artistic expertise in administering injectables that yield natural-looking results for clients to look and feel their best.
Dr. Nichols, a National Physician Trainer and Speaker for Allergan, Galderma, Merz, and Qwo, trains other dermatologists and plastic surgeons from across the country in the highest standards or art and ethics on how to administer injectables.
Dr. Nichols graduated cum laude from Harvard University, attended NYU School of Medicine, and completed her dermatology residency at King-Drew/Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident. In 2013, Dr. Nichols opened her own practice, NicholsMD of Greenwich, and has since opened SkinLab by NicholsMD and NicholsMD of Fairfield.
Dr. Nichols has been featured on The Today Show, The Dr. Oz Show, and is regularly featured as a skincare expert in health and beauty magazines such as Practical Dermatology, Modern Aesthetics, and New Beauty. In 2021, Dr. Nichols self-published The Book of Skin, where she shares skincare tips and must-have products. Most recently, Dr. Nichols founded her own educational webinar series called Hustle & Glow, aimed at educating those in the beauty business about how to attract, maintain and grow loyal clientele. Each topic is curated by Dr. Nichols, with passion and profitability in mind.
Dr. Nichols works and lives in Greenwich with her husband and three children. She actively serves on the Greater New York board of the American Red Cross, and is a mentor with Girls Inc., where she inspires the next generation of female leaders.
Emily joined NicholsMD in 2015 while she was pursuing her Master’s Degree at Columbia University.
At NicholsMD, Emily leads all staff initiatives relating to team development, staff training, and culture-building events. She’s also the woman behind NicholsMD’s community involvement, whether hosting or attending events, and leads the company’s Philanthropy of the Month initiatives.
Emily’s passion and expertise for the aesthetic industry has been recognized on a national level. Emily is an expert speaker for companies like Galderma and L’Oréal- SkinCeuticals, is a Board Member for ADAM, and has been a frequent writer for aesthetic magazines such as Practical Dermatology. In 2019, Emily was awarded “Top 40 Under 40” for her leadership and influence in the community. Most recently in 2023, Emily helped to launch the NMD Cares Program.
Emily graduated Cum Laude from Loyola University Maryland and had a near perfect GPA at Columbia University. Emily is also an alumna of Teach For America-New Orleans, and loves anything New Orleans.
Emily and her husband live in Fairfield, CT with their two children.

Mikayla is one of our Board-Certified Nurse Practitioners who graduated with honors in her master’s degree program through Regis College. Prior, Mikayla was a pediatric critical care nurse for four years and a registered nurse here at NicholsMD. Mikayla is certified in Advanced Life Support, is a member of the American Nurses Association and a Skin Ceuticals Ambassador. Mikayla has gone on several mission trips and has clinical experiences studying abroad in both Ireland and Guatemala. She has a passion for skin care and helping other people look and feel their absolute best. Mikayla lives in New York, New York, is an author in modern aesthetics, and when not at work, enjoys cycling, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
Julia is one of our Board-Certified Nurse Practitioners who graduated with her Masters degree from Maryville University. She received her undergraduate degree from Sacred Heart University and began her career as a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse in 2017. She spent 7 years caring for the most fragile and critically-ill babies. Now she devotes her passion to all things skin!
Outside of the office, Julia spends time with her husband, family, and friends. She loves to read, drink lots of coffee, and go out to eat!
Dana Barbieri is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner who attended Drexel University for both her undergraduate and graduate studies. Dana earned her Master of Science in Nursing with honors while working full time in the ICU and has seven years of intensive care experience. She is a SkinCeuticals Ambassador, a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, as well as certified in NRP and BLS. Passionate about beauty, health, and wellness, she believes that skin health is a vital part of overall wellness and should be nurtured and cared for just like other aspects of health. Dana takes a personalized and tailored approach to help patients achieve their individual goals for skin health, well-being, and overall confidence.
Dana lives in Harbor Point and enjoys both working and spending time in her community. Outside of work, she loves being outdoors—hiking, paddle boarding, and running with her rescue dog, Olive. She values her time with family and friends and has a passion for traveling, always eager to explore new restaurants and places.
Felicia is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing from Northeastern University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Quinnipiac University. She has 7 years of experience working in high-acuity emergency departments, where she cared for patients with complex needs in fast-paced environments. Felicia has now found her passion in dermatology and helping patients feel their most confident. She is dedicated to providing safe, personalized care with natural results. She is originally from Westchester, NY and in her free time she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Carly is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her undergrad in Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2014 and has been working in healthcare for over a decade. She joined the NicholsMD team in 2021, following her passion in skincare, beauty and making people feel confident in their own skin. Carly is also nationally certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Emergency Nursing. Carly specializes in creating customized treatment plans for patients of all ages to help them feel the best version of themselves. Her favorite treatments to perform are Sculptra and Greenwich Secret. In Carly’s free time, you can find her going on long hikes with her two rescue dogs and enjoying time on her family’s lake boat.
Gabi is a dedicated Registered Nurse with four years of experience in the field of aesthetics. A graduate of St. Paul’s School of Nursing with honors, she has developed a strong passion for beauty and wellness. With a focus on personalized, high-quality care, Gabi is committed to helping clients enhance their natural beauty, rejuvenate their appearance, and achieve their wellness goals.
Jessica is our Licensed Master Aesthetician and Aesthetic Educator at the Boutique. She studied at Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics in the Boston area, where she became a Master Aesthetician specializing in medical skin care. Before working at NicholsMD of Greenwich, she worked on Madison Avenue in New York City for over three years as the Lead Aesthetician.
Having earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Springfield College and with over 10 years of experience as a Master Aesthetician and Laser Technician, Jessica knows how to provide each and every client with a therapeutic yet clinical approach to address her clients’ every need.
Jessica holds several different Aesthetic certifications such as microdermabrasion, chemical peels, advanced facial massage and gua sha, and the advanced treatment of acne. She also attends several SkinCeuticals continuing education courses every year to stay up to date with the latest trends of the industry and is a member of the SkinCeuticals Master Aesthetician founding class.
Jessica lives in Westchester County, NY and when not at work, she enjoys staying fit by taking dance classes, spending time with her family, and traveling.

Lexie is from the picturesque state of Rhode Island, she has spent over 9 years dedicated to being a Medical Assistant, specializing in dermatology. Recently, she became a licensed aesthetician, expanding her expertise in skincare and beauty.

Beyond the world of work, she enjoys traveling, always eager to explore new places and cultures. Yet, her heart finds its greatest joy in spending quality time with her family and friends, cherishing the bonds that make life truly meaningful.
A proud Stamford, Connecticut native, Shelby embarked on her esthetics journey in 2019, earning her license from The New York School of Esthetics in White Plains, New York. Driven by a passion for achieving transformative results, Shelby combines hands-on care with science-backed, medical-grade skincare to help patients feel confident in their own skin.
Shelby’s ultimate goal has always been to work on the medical side of esthetics, collaborating under a dermatologist to deepen her knowledge and experience, while elevating her expertise. This commitment to continuous learning allows her to deliver quality care tailored to each patients unique needs.
When she is not helping patients achieve their skincare goals, you can find Shelby enjoying quality time with friends and family, exploring new restaurants, or unwinding with a great movie marathon.
Lana is one of our full-time Medical Assistants. She joined NicholsMD in August 2023. She is an alumna of Quinnipiac University where she received both her Bachelors and Masters in Biomedical Sciences. Lana is excited to work alongside Dr. Nichols and the NicholsMD Team where she can combine her love for science and skincare – and making everyone feel confident in their own skin with results that are #NaturalAtNichols.
Lana is bilingual in both English and Arabic. She enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and finding new hobbies to try out!
Hailey joined the NicholsMD Team in 2023, and is a senior biochemistry major at Fairfield University where she is the President of the Pre-Med Club.
Hailey is from Branford, CT and enjoys spending time on Cape Cod. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, going to the beach, and painting.
Nicole is one of our full-time medical assistants. She joined NicholsMD in April of 2024 and is an alumna of the University of Tampa where she graduated with her degree in Allied Health studies. Her passion for expanding her knowledge in both medical and cosmetic dermatology is what inspired her to join the team at NicholsMD. She plans on continuing her studies to fulfill her aspirations of becoming a nurse in the fall of 2024. She is so excited to work alongside her colleagues and hopes to help everyone feel like the most confident version of themselves.

Marlyse is a Medical Assistant who joined NicholsMD in August of 2025. Graduating from University of Rhode Island with a Kinesiology and Psychology Degree, she brings in a unique understanding of both the physical and emotional aspects of wellness. Marlyse is passionate about helping patients look the best version of themselves while expanding her knowledge in both medical and cosmetic dermatology!
In her free time, Marlyse likes spending time reading, with family or getting active outside!
Madison is one of our office managers. She joined NicholsMD in 2021, and is an alumna of Sacred Heart University, graduating with a Bachelors in Science in Biology in 2021. Her passion for both medical and cosmetic dermatology has led her to NicholsMD. She recieved her MBA at Pace University. She is so excited to be able to help patients love their skin.

Melanie joined the NicholsMD team in 2020, with a passion for patient care and a big love for skincare. Melanie is a University of Rhode Island alumna with a Journalism major and minor in Business Administration. Since joining our team, she has lit up the reception with her friendly disposition.
Melanie is from Fairfield County and when she is not at NicholsMD, she enjoys spending her time out East on the water and traveling to new places with friends. In addition, most people do not know that she is also fluent in Bulgarian.
Felicia is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing from Northeastern University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Quinnipiac University. Diana Vata is our Front Office Manager. Prior to joining NicholsMD in 2022, Diana graduated with a degree in Health Services Administration. Diana is CPR certified and bilingual; she speaks fluent English and Albanian.
Diana has always had a passion for dermatology and loves helping others feel confident in their own skin. Diana lives in Stamford, CT, and outside of the office she loves to read and find new recipes to cook.
Emily is our full-time Senior Marketing Manager. She joined NicholsMD in 2020 and is an alumna of Fordham University, graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Communications and Media Studies with a minor in Marketing. She is the woman behind the camera (or phone), capturing the excellent services and luxury atmosphere that NicholsMD provides, as well as driving social media and marketing initiatives and events.
Her passion for skincare has grown throughout the years, and she believes that skincare is selfcare – she is so excited to be a part of a 100% women-owned and operated company that instills the confidence in other women to live their best lives every day.
Emily lives in Norwalk, CT, and when not at work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and finding new Instagram-worthy spots along the East Coast!

Carolyn’s enthusiasm for helping others feel confident in their own skin, paired with her expertise in luxury aesthetics makes her feel right at home at NMD!

Bria is a full time Client Coordinator, and joined our team in June of 2024. Bria graduated from The New School with a degree in communications & design, and a minor in culture & media in 2022. Bria’s passion for skincare and making people feel beautiful in their natural skin is apparent in every phone call answered and every patient greeting. Bria is excited to be a part of the NicholsMD Team to help continue her education in the dermatology field, as well as to educate others about skin care.

Demi is a Client Coordinator who joined the NicholsMD team in July 2025. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Biology and a minor in Compassionate Care in Medicine. With a background in women’s health and memory care, Demi is passionate about providing thoughtful, personalized experiences for every patient.
