Emily Anne Scalise, M.A.
Director of Operations and Business Development
Emily joined NicholsMD in 2015 while she was pursuing her Master’s Degree at Columbia University.
At NicholsMD, Emily leads all staff initiatives relating to team development, staff training, and culture-building events. She’s also the woman behind NicholsMD’s community involvement, whether hosting or attending events, and leads the company’s Philanthropy of the Month initiatives.
Emily’s passion and expertise for the aesthetic industry has been recognized on a national level. Emily is an expert speaker for companies like L’Oréal- SkinCeuticals, and has been a frequent writer for aesthetic magazines such as Practical Dermatology. In 2019, Emily was awarded “Top 40 Under 40” for her leadership and influence in the community.
Emily graduated Cum Laude from Loyola University Maryland and had a near perfect GPA at Columbia University. Emily is also an alumna of Teach For America-New Orleans, and loves anything New Orleans.
Emily and her husband live in Fairfield, CT with their son.
Kaitlyn Rahtelli, PA-C
Board-Certified Physician Assistant
Physician Assistant, Kaitlyn Rahtelli, PA-C joined the NicholsMD of Greenwich professional team in 2019 as a medical dermatology provider.
Board certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants, Kaitlyn is also a member of the Pi Alpha National Honor Society of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Bridgeport and holds a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
Kaitlyn has been personally trained by Dr. Kim Nichols, along with the leading cosmetic and medical dermatology companies in the industry, such as Allergan, Merz Aesthetics, Galderma and SkinCeuticals, the #1 rated medical skincare brand by professionals. Kaitlyn also has completed advanced trainings in CoolSculpting and Ultherapy.
Kaitlyn and her husband (and their fur baby, Hudson) live in Ridgefield, CT. When Kaitlyn is not at the office, she enjoys cooking and traveling with family.
Vanesa Kodra, PA-C
Board-Certified Physician Assistant
Vanesa is Board-Certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants and a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA), American Academy of Physician Assistants, and American Society of Laser Medicine & Surgery, Inc (ASLMS). After receiving a B.S in honors within 3 years at the University of Delaware, she then went on to completing a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies in an accelerated program at Pace University-Lenox Hill Hospital, where she was trained in the top 10 nationally ranked hospitals in NYC.
With skin being the largest organ in the body and an external representation of individuals, her goal is to give everyone the confidence they deserve. Patients find her to be an upbeat, friendly, and charming person with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail. Vanesa lives in Bergen County, NJ, and when not at work, enjoys helping run her family-owned Italian restaurant, spending time in NYC, and traveling all over Europe.
Lead Medical Assistant
Taylor is our Lead Medical Assistant. Since graduating from college with a degree in Health Science, Taylor worked as the emergency room phlebotomist at a hospital in northern Connecticut. She joined NicholsMD in 2016, and given her experience and phlebotomy instructor certifications, is our lead provider for our Vitamin IV Treatments.
Taylor is also a graduate of CoolSculpting University, and our go-to specialist for this non-surgical fat reduction treatment. She is Dr. Nichols’ right hand during patient appointments and is truly dedicated to putting the needs of others above her own.
Taylor lives in Fairfield Country, and when not at work, she enjoys spending time with family, being by the water, and volunteering for the Non-Profit Organization !MPACT, educating on the importance of safe driving.
Lead Medical Aesthetician
Jessica is our Licensed Medical Aesthetician at the Boutique. She studied at Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics in the Boston area, where she became a Master Aesthetician specializing in medical skin care. Before working at NicholsMD of Greenwich, she worked on Madison Avenue in New York City for over three years as the Lead Aesthetician.
Having earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Springfield College and with over 5 years of experience as a Master Aesthetician and Laser Technician, Jessica knows how to provide each and every client with a therapeutic yet clinical approach to address her clients’ every need.
Jessica holds several different Aesthetic certifications such as microdermabrasion, chemical peels, advanced treatment of acne, and facial massage. She is also a graduate of CoolSculpting University where she became a Coolsculpting Specialist for this non-surgical, fat reduction treatment. She also attends several SkinCeuticals continuing education courses every year to stay up to date with the latest trends of the industry.
Jessica lives in Westchester County, NY and when not at work, she enjoys staying fit by taking dance classes, spending time with her family, and traveling.
Medical Assistant and Licensed Aesthetician
Shontae is one of our full time Medical Assistants. She is a graduate of Lincoln Technical Institute and is CPR and First Aid Certified with the American Heart Association. Shontae has been passionate about the skin care industry since becoming a certified aesthetician 2013. This aesthetic training required her to study skin, hair, and nails for 750 hours.
Her strength as a medical assistant lies in her ability to build personal relationships with clients. In her free time, Shontae enjoys dancing, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.
Ali joined NicholsMD in 2017 as our Office Administrator. A Fairfield County native, Ali is one of the first-faces you’ll meet when you arrive to our Boutique. After graduating from Quinnipiac University with a degree in Public Relations, Ali found her passion in helping to build NicholsMD into one of the best cosmetic dermatology offices in the greater New York City area with its concierge approach. Our staff and clients describe her as “bubbly, caring, and a go-getter”; she’s the person who delivers a 7-star experience to you on a 5-star rating scale.
Outside of the office, Ali enjoys spending time with her family, going to see live music, and cooking.
Cindy is one of our trained medical assistants. Cindy has been working in cosmetic dermatology since 2013. Cindy joined NicholsMD in 2019 because she was inspired by the concierge-like approach that the company values for its patient care. Cindy’s experience has helped to foster her passion for healthy skin; as she believes healthy skin starts from the inside out. Cindy is a Dean’s List graduate from Sanford Brown Institute and is currently pursuing her nursing degree.
Cindy lives in Westchester County and when not working, she is a dedicated loving mother to a beautiful little girl. She enjoys finding the hidden artsy gems of New York City and loves adventure overall!
Front Office Manager
Adelina Pacarizi is our Administrative Assistant. Adelina Joined NicholsMD in 2019 and is often described as the “patient advocate”. Patients adore Adelina; she’s kind and soft-spoken but a true intellect. In fact, she received a full scholarship at Berkeley college, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Adelina is also bilingual; she speaks fluent English and Albanian.
Adelina is passionate about skincare and has been trained by SkinCeuticals, the #1 medical-grade skincare company in the US, when she first joined NicholsMD. Adelina lives in Connecticut and in her spare time, loves spending time with her nephews.
Emily is our full-time Marketing Manager. She joined NicholsMD in 2020 and is an alumna of Fordham University, graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Communications and Media Studies with a minor in Marketing. She is the woman behind the camera (or phone), capturing the excellent services and luxury atmosphere that NicholsMD provides, as well as driving social media and marketing initiatives and events.
Her passion for skincare has grown throughout the years, and she believes that skincare is selfcare – she is so excited to be a part of a 100% women-owned and operated company that instills the confidence in other women to live their best lives every day.
Emily and her husband live in West Haven, CT, and when not at work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and finding new Instagram-worthy spots along the East Coast!
Marisa is one of our full-time Medical Assistants. She joined NicholsMD in 2020. She is an alumna of Hofstra University, graduating with a Bachelors in Science in Exercise Science in 2018. Upon graduating, Marisa has gained high-quality patience care experience working as a physical therapist assistant and a medical assistant in dermatology. Her experiences in the medical field has inspired her to pursue a medical degree. Alongside working at NicholsMD office, she is currently taking prerequisites to apply for medical schools in the near future. Marisa has shown how passionate she is about the medical field and is eager to become a practitioner one day.
Marisa lives in Westchester County and in her free time, she enjoys exercising, traveling and spending quality time with family and friends.
Medical Assistant and Licensed Aesthetician
Cassie is a licensed medical aesthetician on our SkinLab team. She completed a pre-med post-bacc before attending the New York School of Esthetics and thereafter developed her practice as an aesthetician and laser technician in both medical and spa environments. She holds certifications in advanced treatments such as microdermabrasion, chemical peels and Gua Sha facial sculpting.
Having struggled with severe adult acne and navigating most avenues of care, education has become the cornerstone of her practice. She focuses much of her attention on treating teenage and adult hormonal acne, incorporating conversations about nutritional health and personal wellness. Cassie approaches skin health by bridging clinical and holistic treatments that are tailor-made to each individual and condition.
In addition to practicing as an aesthetician, she also works as an educator with her local Boys & Girls Club, offering skin health workshops that focus on teenage acne and sun protection.
Along with being a skincare nerd, Cassie loves film, especially horror, a passion she and her partner share as self-proclaimed cinephiles. Outside the office, she spends as much time as she can with loved ones and her cat, Sasha.
